Because I am a middle school teacher at heart I tend to hit it off with my seniors right away. They know within the first few minutes that the bossy teacher in me is going to come out.....and for most of them this is a huge relief. 

I have found that styling and posing seniors is key to a successful session. If they feel awkward or not themselves this will show. I really try to get them to relax, be themselves, bust out their own moves..... And I might even crack a bad joke at my own expense!

Life gets busy. Schedules are insane. You want to lose some weight first. There are so many reasons why pictures get put on hold year after year. But before you know it, you blink your eyes and your children are grown. It's so important to have images of your family to look back on and share.

For family sessions I suggest families choose a location they love. A place that represents their style or has a special meaning to them. I strive to get both posed and candid shots within the hour session.  I love nothing more than throwing the kids out of the shot and just having it be mom and dad. These are always the sweetest moments and the moments that simply don't happen enough.

Family Sessions: $700

-20 minutes of shooting time

-Only offered seasonally (Fall & Summer). Mini sessions are NOT booked individually, but on pre-determined dates back to back.

For the more adventurous of hearts I offer Family Adventure Shoots. These sessions take place typically up in the mountains at some dreamy location. Together we plan your adventure, down to what you’ll wear.

These sessions are more documentary style…..capturing little moments and tiny details.

Let's be real, those first few weeks of bringing new baby home are a blur. The challenges of adjusting to a new family member, who has a sleep schedule of their own, and healing are no joke. As a mom of two I totally get it!

It is important to me that your newborn session is as stress free as possible. I come with lots of wardrobe options from my client closet for you, new babe and any siblings. I do not limit myself in the way of time. There will be lots of breaks, feeding and diaper changing. Sessions are meant to feel relaxed, not rushed.

Newborn sessions at your home or in my studio are typically 1.5 to 2 hours in length. I keep it simple. I don't come with props, crazy lighting  or any expectations with how the session will go.  New baby usually determines that. I use the comfortable features of your home: a living room couch, your bed, the new nursery and look for nature window lighting. Simple is better and truly the session is about capturing those sweet moments between you and your newborn.

I offer both in home and in studio newborn shoots.

Growing a life is no joke. As a mama of two I remember just how tired I was. And while I didn’t feel the pregnancy glow that some moms talk about, I am so happy I chose to document my belly. My kids still ask to see the images!

The best time for capture that bump is between 7 & 8 months. I offer both on location and in-studio maternity shoots.
